Mrs. Currier's little ones have been very busy since the start of this school year. The kids have done several projects with Mrs. Currier and have even been able to help celebrate a fellow classmates birthday. They have also been active in school wide events.

One of the first events the kids were able to participate in was crazy hair day. On this day, normal was boring. The crazier the better! We had kids with spiked hair and the girls seemed to really like the pink hair. A week or so after crazy hair day the kids had spirit day. On this day the kids wore their spirit t-shirts. Each class is assigned a different color to wear. The kindergarten was proud to wear their bright red t-shirts to show their spirit.

Now, back to what's going on inside the classroom. Besides the normal day to day work that the kids do with Mrs. Currier, they also get to have special projects and days that reinforce what they have been learnig. For instance, the class learned about fire safety. They made fireman's hats and Abbey's mom brought in fire engine treats for all to enjoy.

Another special day the kids had with Mrs. Currier was Apple Day. Here the kids learned about Johnny Appleseed, made apple projects and got to help make fresh applesauce. Any day the kids get to make food and eat it, is a great day for them.
Finally, the kids all helped Noah to celebrate his birthday. They had cupcakes and drinks, where some kids seemed to enjoy theirs more.
Stay tuned for further updates as to what Mrs. Currier's little ones are up to.
